“Care” is the first and fundamental company value in Seatrans and this reflects the way we recruit and develop our seafarers. Our personnel are the most important asset and we believe that professionals that care are the best guarantee we can have to achieve safe performance with the highest quality in all our operations.
The Crewing Department in Stödig Ship Management serves a number of companies operating for global oil and chemical majors and demanding clients in the paper industry and cargo agencies. The crew management operation exceeds requirements in the TMSA guidelines and we provide high quality personnel with excellent records.
What we offer
Three times a year we are conducting a market analysis in the labour market for seafarers. Based on these market assessments we ensure that our wage scales remains competitive. We are paying salaries in Euro.
All employees in Seatrans Crewing AS become members of a pension solution from the first day of employment. The “Seatrans Crewing Officers and Ratings Retirement Scheme” is a fixed percentage of the wages saved for your pension and will come on top of the salary paid. We were among the first companies to establish such pension program also for Ratings. The pension savings will contribute to a more economically safe future for all our seafarers. Member’s handbooks will be handed out the day of employment.
Medical Care Program
In Poland and Romania we have established a Medical Care Program for our seafarers and their families. This proves to be a very well received benefit ensuring a significant improved health care for our seafarers and their families.
